जर सोपं असलं असतं तर,
तुझं एक चित्र बनवलं असतं.
ज्या घरात येणार नाहीस कधी,
त्या भिंतीवर सजवलं असतं.

दिवस, तुझ्याकडे बघून गेला असता,
तुझा वावर घरभर असला असता.
संवाद आपला दिवसभर झाला असता,
दुखावणारा काळ थोडा सुखावला असता.

किती झालं तरी, जखमा मात्र भरल्या नसत्या.
शेवटी चित्रच ते, त्याला जिवंत भावना नसत्या !

डोळ्यात जाग कशाला ?

उद्याच्या सुखांचा,
आज हव्यास कशाला ?

प्रेममय काळ आहे,
त्याची चिंता कशाला ?

तुझ्या माझ्यात दुःखाचा,
अडसर कशाला ?

भिजले केस, ओल्या अंगाला

कोवळे उन स्पर्शुन गेले ,

तारुण्यात दिसतेस खास

रुळल्या बटेला सांगुन गेले.

त्या क्षणाला आठवुन तुला,

मन माझे मोहरून गेले.

स्पर्शातल्या मोरपीसांची,

आठवण ओठ सांगुन गेले.

व्यथा

तुझ्या डोळ्यात एक नशा होती,

आता सर्व काही संपले.

ते कुणासाठी तरी आसुसलेले होते,

आता कुणापायी तरी घाबरलेले !

Himalayan Punchinello

The Punchinello is a small butterfly found in South Asia and Southeast Asia that belongs to the Riodinidae family. The species is common in North India, specially in North East and Himalayan region. It exhibits both Dry and Wet season form.

Paris Peacock (Papilio paris)

One of exotic species of swallowtail butterfly found in the Indian Subcontinent and Southeast Asia. This species is found in rain-forest and humid deciduous forest at elevations between sea level and about 500m. During daytime it can be found either mud puddling or nectoring on citrus trees. Citrus is also its host plant apart from Rutaceae. It spends a lot of time puddling or nectoring. During puddling, it hops till find the appropriate spot to puddle. It keeps on flapping the wings and stops as it settles down to spot it likes. Once settled, it spreads the wings flat, as seen in photo.

It is a large butterfly and continuously flutters the wings during nectoring. Due to similarities in behavior, size and light conditions, to obtain decent photographs, tricks to photograph Southern Birdwing can also be applied for Paris peacock as well.
